This Institution is the emergence of Dr. Zora Singh’s, The Chairman of Desh Bhagat Group of   Institutes, noble thoughts whose mission is to enhance knowledge, skills, confidence and motivation  of students who would act as socially responsible leaders and entrepreneurs. This Institution   endeavor to impart education in one of the most important fields to serve humanity as well as best   professional skills to the students through theoretical and practical training. Desh Bhagat School of   Nursing aims at bringing the best of international standards and modern professional techniques in   patient care, to India. The objective of the institution is to develop nursing professionals taking   patient care to levels beyond the confines of mere duty and unite knowledge and skill with genuine   compassion and concern for the patient’s well being.

 

OUR GUIDING PHILOSOPHY 

Desh Bhagat School of Nursing aims at bringing the best of International Standards and modern   professional techniques in patient care, to India. Based on the firm belief that nursing in not just a   profession, but a vocation, the faculty of nursing believes in a holistic and patient centric approach   to  nursing. It is supported by the theories and practices of modern medicine.  We seek to develop   nursing professionals taking patient care to levels beyond the confines of mere duty and unite   knowledge and skill with genuine compassion and concern for the patient’s well being.

 

OBJECTIVES 

·        To prepare nurses clinicians for beside and family care nursing, nursing administration.

·        To demonstrate critical thinking skills in making decisions in all situations in order to provide   quality care.

·        To develop skills in providing nursing care based on steps of nursing process in collaboration   with the individuals

           and groups.      

·        To demonstrate utilization of the latest trends & technology in providing health care.

·        To apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral Sciences, medicine including   alternative systems.

·        To demonstrate leadership & managerial skills in clinical/Community health settings.

·        To conduct need based research studies in quarry settings.

·        To demonstrate awareness, interest & contribute towards advancements of self and of the   professor.

·        To demonstrate use of ethical values in the professional life.

ABOUT GROUP

Desh Bhagat Group is leader in providing quality education with the sole aim of "Excellence through  efforts". The Group comprises of 15 different professional colleges all over Punjab particularity at   Mandi Gobindgarh Muktsar and Chandigarh which caters to Engineering , Hotel Mgt. , Airlines Tourism   & Hospitality, Computer Application, Business Management,  Media & Entertainment, Fashion,  Art& Craft, Ayurveda, Nursing, Dental Sciences, Jewelry Design etc. The Institute was initiated   under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Zora Singh an MBBS.
