I feel privileged to announce the opening of the seventh session of GNM and first session  of B. Sc. (Nursing)  in Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing at Mandi Gobindgarh, which is yet another endeavour to impact education  in one of the most important fields to serve humanity. The idea of its genesis, emergence and finally its  culmination into a recognized institute is the result of collective thinking and efforts of the team  work to widen  the ever expanding horizon of Desh Bhagat Group. Nursing is a health care profession focused on the care of individual, families and communities so that they attain, maintain optimal HEALTH  AND QUALITY OF LIFE from birth to death. For most people nursing draws its essence from the noble mission initiated by FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE in Crimean War (1854-1856), but the professional historian of nursing date it back to 500 AD. Today, there are many elements to modern nursing and includes advanced responsibilities.

 We tend to provide our students the best facilities that will go long way in making them the best of professional nurses.
